RMAVV Members:
I am about to update the Business Member List on the website for 2002.  Updates after that will be sporadic, so I encourage you to get your memberships mailed in to Mike ASAP (if you have not already done so).  If you are missing a membership form, you can get a copy here.  If you want your website or an email address linked to your company name, please send me a note.  I've added the sites that I'm aware of, but there may be some new ones.  I won't link your e-mail without a specific request.

I hope to get the password protection for the 'Family' member list set up one of these days soon too.  That will allow other RMAVV members ONLY to access contact info for all of the the family members.  For the moment, the family info is not accessible to anyone.

The spring meeting date has been set for April 20th.  More info will follow soon, since we are still in the planning stages.

Thanks Folks,
Nancy

Hi Nancy,
Steve Smith gave me you as a contact for spreading information regarding the wine competition held annually at the Mesa County Fair.  The
competition is open to amateur wine makers.  I've attached the entry classes and judging criteria (see below in text format-nmj).  Talking to Steve, I mentioned how it's such a shame that entries have been so poor over the last several years (less than 10 total!) when Mesa County is in such a great wine making area.  Not only am I trying to increase participation but I'm also trying to solicit sponsorships for winning entries.  Later in spring/early summer the Fair will be putting flyers out "advertising" the event as well.

Entry dates for the 2002 Open Class are as follows:
Monday July 22nd from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Tuesday July 23rd from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM

The judging of the beer and wine classes will be Tuesday July 23rd beginning at 5:00 PM.  Lee Whitney has been our excellent judge.  If you have any suggestions regarding additional people who may want to help Lee, or if you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to contact me.

Thanks for your time!
