This C.A.V.E. seminar will feature phenolics expert Dr. James F. Harbertson from Washington State University to cover phenolics in grapes and wine along with their evolution and measurement.  (Palisade)

Fermentation Specialist Michael Jones, Scott Laboratories, will cover malolactic inoculation research and timing.  (Palisade)

Dr. Stephen Menke, Colorado State University.  (Palisade)

AGENDA

The seminar will feature Dr. Stan Howell to review cold hardiness, evaluating winter damage, and handling vineyard cold damage.  

In Palisade, Meet at the Wine Country Inn, and be prepared to depart at 8:30am sharp for the vineyard visits.  Please group into carpools and bring an extra pair of boots/shoes as the vineyards could be quite muddy this time of year.
